נשירת שיער דיפוזית חדה — thinning עד near-complete alopecia. Hair pull test: strongly positive — hairs break or come out easily (dystrophic anagen hairs). Tapered/pencil-point fractures of hair shaft. ⚠️ No scarring, no inflammation. Eyebrows, eyelashes, body hair — may also be affected depending on agent.

Radiation (to scalp) — permanent if >40 Gy. Toxic: thallium, arsenic, boron, colchicine overdose. Autoimmune: alopecia areata (acute, diffuse variant) — DDx.
